In this hands on workshop we’ll explore the many aspects of all natural soap making from ingredients and formulation to cutting and storage and everything in between.
Participants will learn how ingredients change the characteristics of soap, perform calculations, weigh and blend ingredients, and customize their own soap by choosing essential oils and herbal add ins.
Each participant will take home their own custom batch of 6 bars of hair & body soap in a reusable silicone mold and all of the information needed to make a batch of soap on your own.
We’ll be working with all natural ingredients including lard, organic castor oil, lye, essential oils, flowers and herbs. Participants should wear long pants, long sleeves and close toed shoes.
